
FALL INTERNSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT In fulfilling the mission of the Barbara Lee Family Foundation and the Barbara Lee Political Office, internships are designed to provide a valuable mentoring experience for emerging leaders. Interns will focus on researching organizations who seek grants and organizations who seek renewal of past grants. Additional projects may include researching major art exhibitions of female contemporary artists and distributing the Foundation’s Governors Guidebook series. Individuals will also assist the Barbara Lee Political Office (BLPO). Tasks and projects will include tracking national, state, and local female candidates and their races for public office, as well as providing support for fundraising and event planning activities. Interns will perform a variety of administrative tasks for the office staff. Candidates should have exceptional organizational, research, and writing skills and a demonstrated interest in women’s political participation.
