Neighbor to Neighbor Massachusetts Education Fund

Neighbor to Neighbor Massachusetts builds power in low-income and working class communities around economic justice issues. Their grassroots organizing model includes voter registration and education, policy advocacy, coalition building and leadership development and they are instrumental in mobilizing key constituencies in low-income communities. In 2008, the Barbara Lee Family Foundation granted funds to support Neighbor to Neighbor in their work to engage Massachusetts voters from underrepresented communities. In total, Neighbor to Neighbor contacted 9,485 total infrequent voters and identified 8,205 supporters for this project.
